Hubz called me on Friday night and he was panicking. He said he lost his wedding ring, and that he has turned the house upside down looking for it. Of course I was amused because even his mom and his grandma were helping him look for it. At the back of my mind, I was sort of imagining what type of wedding ring I'll request next, hehe! I know, I'm bad... but hey, a girl can dream of a diamond studded platinum wedding band can't she?
Ok, so I did a little research over the weekend, even sent a photo to hubz on the possible design. I also told him about some couples having two sets of wedding bands - one for daily use, and another for special occasions only. He said that was a good idea, until I told him how much platinums cost these days. He almost fell off his chair, tee-hee!
So, come Monday, he called me as soon as he got to work, to let me know he found his ring! He was so excited 'coz it was under his desk - a little hidden from view. So, all my illusions of a new wedding band went kapoot!
But, hey, I'm glad he found his wedding ring. After all, it's blessed, and it was the same ring we used to profess our undying love to each other - you know, the 'til death do us part piece.

Mickee - if you want to take a look at 'reasonable' platinum rings, let me know and we can go to the Jewelry Mart together. Because it's wholesale, it's not as expensive as it would be at retail stores. Getting in is by invite only so I can bring you if you want. Let me know :). I don't mind going to the Jewelry Mart at all :)
Aint that sweet...your hubs turning the house upside down just to look for the missing ring, glad he found it.
